Wonder Woman is tearing up records and breaking down doors, according to some, and at the center of it all is a woman, a woman who has shattered glass ceilings and placed women on par with their male movie-making counterparts. Recently though women have celebrated such record-breaking by holding all-female screenings throughout the nation.

Here’s what Jenkins herself said about such screenings:

“I actually have sort of mixed feelings about all of that only because I do believe in not excluding anyone from anything. And so, on the one hand, I’m so delighted by those screenings and want people to be able to have those screenings. On the other hand I can imagine being offended if I’m excluded from those screenings, particularly because Wonder Woman herself has a very, very passionate fan base, many of whom are men.

And many of whom are men who are disenfranchised from their own gender or their own identity. And I would never want to leave them out of anything, you know? … I could switch to either side of the argument, but I certainly think it’s wonderful … there have not been that many female-skewed things and certainly there have been many, many male. So I celebrate that.”

Translation: I’ve been punched in the eyes so many times by men, maybe now it’s good they got punched in the eyes.

My take: Jenkins views the world through that 20th century construct called gender equality, wherein and whereby men and women really are just different names for the same thing, and she enjoys seeing men get what men have dished out, supposedly. She sounds like a cunt to me, but then I k new she was no fair lily after she made Monster, a movie about the world’s first known, prolific female-on-male serial killer, in the modern sense.

I just wonder what women would do if we just didn’t need them anymore….
