This one is for Tanman and his good little buddy Kody, because you know they’ll go hang out and watch it together some time, all alone, in a darkened theater. That’s how it goes.
So the first trailer for My Little Pony and it’s poster has dropped, no doubt bringing tons of joy to little girls and Tanman and Kody everywhere. In essence, this follows in the footsteps of the very successful television series, and a few straight to DVD movies, which were also successful. Personally, I thought My Little Pony went out with the Cabbage patch Kids. I had no idea it was still moving along at a straight clip even now in the year 2017. That’s what I get for not being gay.
So basically this is pretty much a followup to the television series and it carries over the voice cast of the animated series to play Mane 6, Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Rarity, plus Emily Blunt, who plays Temptest. How cute. You could just rape them, they’re so cute.
Other voice actors include Kristen Chenoweth, Liev Schreiber, Michael Peña, Sia, Tay Diggs, Uzo Aduba, and Zoe Saldana.
So here’s the trailer:
And here’s the poster:
I’m just curious but where the fuck are the male ponies? Seriously, isn’t that sexist? No male ponies? Aren’t ponies male, too? So little boys can’t play with them because there aren’t any male versions? Even GI JOE had female team members, and Transformers had Arcee and Elita One, no matter how stupid it was for robots to have sexes. I’m just miffed that there are no male ponies. Where’s Michelle Rodriguez to complain about the innate sexism of this My Little Pony movie? Polishing her strap-on?
