Ten years ago, J.J. Abrams’ television thriller Alias was a huge show with a huge following. And then it ended. Now one of the show’s original producers comments on whether the series may return or be rebooted. Fans have been clamoring for more adventures of CIA super-spy Sydney Bristow (played by Jennifer Garner). The return of the show has been teased in the past, but a core of the show has moved onto other things. That changed recently when important members of involved in Alias made it know they were interested in more of the show.

Courtesy of EWthe Alias writers held a reunion at the ATX Television Festival in Austin, Texas. When asked about a potential series revival, co-executive producer Josh Applebaum gave an answer that amounted to “never say never.” He said:

“It would be amazing to do it; we’ve even talked with J.J. The right idea would have to come. We wouldn’t want to do it unless it was absolutely perfect.”

My take: I never saw the show, but Jennifer Garner…..still has a career, right? How can she make more Alias if she’s making all those hot movies, right? RIght? Oh Jennifer garner, what hath you done to your career? And family, too. Divorcing Ben Affleck was one of the dumbest things you could have done. Now there’s not even much nepotism to save you from ending up washing cars in Topeka, Kansas.
